A schedule of dates and programs for Fall 2009-Spring 2010 will be available in late summer.  In the meantime, contact us for a custom badge lab experience.  With a minimum number of scouts, we will conduct the badge lab of your choice, as time and scheduling permit!  Badge labs will be held at Lindale Mall, due to flooding at the Science Station's main campus.

PALs Classes - Resume Fall, 2009

Parent Assisted Learning Science classes are a great way for children between the ages of 3 and 5 to explore science in an interactive, hands-on setting. Children bring their favorite adult to explore and discover science in the museum setting. Starting in April we will "Spring into Science".  Each class includes a make and take activity, songs, movement activities, and a themed literature activity.

Classes will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Satrurdays. Pick which day of the week works best for your schedule. They are offered as a four-week series, but you do have the option to sign up for individual classes.  To obtain additional information and to register, contact the Early Childhood Educator at 319 363-4629 . Science Station members receive a discount on class fees.
